Dr. Gemma Velez moved to the Orlando area after she completed a post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University and the NY Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Prior to moving to NY, she graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree. She’s been practicing in the Orlando area for two decades.
Dr. Velez is a dentist licensed by the Florida State Board of Dentistry and holds memberships with Professional organizations including the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Central Florida District Dental Society.
Dr. Velez’s area of expertise includes cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, extractions, surgical procedures, removable partials ,and complete dentures. She has extensive training in complex and advanced oral and dental conditions. She’s well known for her caring and gentle approach to her patients.
Dr. Velez enjoys exercising traveling outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends. But her proudest accomplishment is her children.
